“The Last Five Years” follows the Cathy, a struggling actress, and Jamie, a budding author, as they fall in and out of love over the course of five years. In this sung-through musical, Cathy tells the story from the end of their marriage and Jamie begins from when they first meet. Throughout the course of the show, Cathy moves backward in time to the beginning of the relationship as Jamie moves toward the end.
