In the remotest part of Middle America, three kids - Kenny, his sister Edith, and their friend Benji - are all but abandoned on a farm with no parents, little food, and nothing in their bank account. Making up the rules as they go, they feed and care for each other as they begin to explore the gap between childhood and whatever comes next. When Kenny and Benji become more than just friends and Edith shoots something she shouldn’t, the outside world comes barging in on their little haven whether they want it to or not.

In conjunction with the production of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, the cast and crew ran three events related in theme and topic to the show:
PINOY Banquet, with Wesleyan’s Filipino student association
A. Rey Pamatmat Q&A and Masterclass, featuring the playwright of Edith coming to campus, answering questions about the show, and running a writing workshop
Casting Panel, featuring directors and actors of color discussing representation in theater (on campus and beyond).

Edith production history and Pamatmat biography
LGBTQ+ history and theater in the United States
Asian American history and theater in the United States
Interviews with Filipino-American immigrants and their children
